Residents’ Council
The local Department of residents is creating a “Residents’ Council”, according to the news provided by the City Council of Poble Nou de Benitachell.
The Department of residents -led by Dirk Rheindorf- promoted the creation of a council of residents which will be a channel to communicate the needs of the vast majority of foreign residents in the municipality and work as a link to the town council.
As pointed out by the council, the council will consist of representatives of the various areas of the municipality and of different nationalities.
“From the Department under my charge I created this organization because I believe that it is very important to encourage citizen participation through an official council with authorization for communication and institutional in order to improve our living and quality of services” Rheindorf stated.
I am trying to find out about the Ecoparque which is presumably under the jurisdiction of the Ayuntamiento. Help appreciated.
