The Department of Equality of Poble Nou de Benitatxell recently created the 1st “Fotodona” Photo Contest Photography Contest, aimed to present a local, personal vision of the International Women’s Day (8 March) through images of the beauty and richness of local female faces.
Submitted picture will feature the face of a 18+ years old local Benitatxel woman regardless of nationality or cultural background. Each participant may submit up to two previously unpublished photographs. The authors of the selected photos must provide a signed declaration of authorship. If the photograph features identifiable person, they must provide written consent.
The photographs will be presented in JPG format with a maximum size of 5MB and a resolution of 300 dpi, for publication on paper. The contestants must submit the photos in digital support and along with the completed form in an envelope to the City of Poble Nou de Benitachell. The selection and award of the prizes of the contest will be held by a jury appointed by the City of Poble Nou de Benitachell and will consist of members of the field of photography, design and culture.
The winning photograph will receive a prize of 200 euros. There will also be a second prize of 100 euros. The winning photographs will be published on the website of the City of Poble Nou de Benitachell and social networks, with the names of the authors.
The deadline for submission of photos is 15 February 2016 at 14:00 h.
