Program for Senior Citizens in Christmas
Benitatxell’s Social Services bureau opened the registration period of the program “Do not be alone in Christmas”, aimed at senior citizens living alone. People interested may join the program until 4 November.
This year, the program proposes a senior citizens gathering in Oropesa del Mar from 23 to 27 December with a special dinner to celebrate Christmas Eve and a Christmas lunch.
Participating people may also enjoy the services of entertainment, games, dances and lectures on health and physical education.
The requirements for participate are: be resident in Valencia Region, be over 65 years old or pensioner, retired, not to suffer behavioral disorders, fend for themselves and live alone.
Those interested can request information at the Department of Social Services of Benitachell until 4 November 2015.
