The City Council hires a translation service for the local police
The town of Benitatxell hired an interpreter to provide a new translation service in English, German, Dutch, Flemish and French at the local police. The service aims to support foreign residents and break the language barriers during critical and stressful situations or emergencies.
Translators will be available at Local Police office from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 h. and via phone from 9:00 to 21:00 h. at +34 636 964 289. Besides, emergency number 112 and +34 608 962 567 will be available full time for emergencies.
New cadastral information point in town
The town of Benitaxell just starting its first official Cadastral Info Point authorized by the General Directorate of Land Registry where citizens can access the cadastral information, perform consulting services and electronic certification and obtain general information about their property.
The information point is open every Thursday from 11:00 to 13:00 h.
Cadastre sent letters to owners of houses affected with a table of assessment and rate of pay according to the actual property value from the moment that made the change without notice.
El Poble Nou de Benitatxell receives a grant of 3978 euros for environmental volunteers and prevention of forest fires.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development allocated to Benitatxell an amount of 3978 euros for the implementation of environmental volunteer activities on forest fire prevention.
The amount will be spent in the execution of volunteer projects that contribute to the prevention and surveillance against forest fires through actions aimed at controlling, visitor information, monitoring and enforcement of ecology.
