Festival in Benissa
Today we would like to share with you the program of events in the framework of the Benissa Festival to be held in town from Saturday 18 April to 3 May:
Saturday 18 April
21.00 h.: Proclamation of the festival at the Parish Church by Benissa born architect Pascual Giner Ginestar.
00.00 h.: Performance of Montecarlo orchestra on Dolores Piera Boulevard.
Friday 24 April
22.30 h.: Festival Juvenile Queen (Carla Gisbert Baidal) and Mayor Queen (Ángela Bertomeu Vizuete) Coronation Ceremony at Dolores Piera Boulevard. After that, Syberia orchestra live show.
Saturday 25 April
19.30 h.: Flower offering to the Puríssima Xiqueta and imposition of medals to the festival staff .
00.30 h.: Fireworks show.
01.00 h.: 80’s Night concert with La Union and Rock & Roll Star
Sunday 26 April
11.30 h.: Mass and sermon in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta
14.00 h.: Pyrotechnics show at Dolores Piera Park.
19.00 h.: Solemn procession in honor of Puríssima Xiqueta. Then, fireworks show.
00.30 h.: Premiere of “The Show” musical play. After that, performance of Matrix orchestra.
Monday 27 April
11.30 h.: Holy Mass in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta.
13.30 h.: Offering of flowers to the Riberer monument and firework show
18.30 h.: Parade of floats accompanied by brass bands and batucada.
20.00 h.: Pequelandia children live musical performance.
00.00 h.: “Hail the Puríssima Xiqueta” traditional Singing in the former home of Joan Vives (Purissima St.) and firework show later.
00.30 h.: Firework show in Dolores Piera Park. After that, performace of La Pato
orchestra.

14.00 h.: Popular lunch in Dolores Piera Park.
18.00 h.: Comedy Parade
19.30 h.: and at 23:30 Release of cows

14.00 h.: Giant Paella at Dolors Piera park.
16.30 h.: Dance and party afternoon with Scream and Euforia orchestras.

20.00 h.: Special concert of “Coral Tabaquera and Cantabile Choir accompanied by the Symphonic Band of Alicante at the Parish Church of the Purísima Xiqueta.
