Wine and Lima Bean Festival
The Wine and Lima Bean Festival will be held in Benitachell on 25 and 26 April., with all the events that year after year brings amusement, great wines and fine cuisine to the city.
The activities scheduled in the framework of this event are:
Saturday 25 April
10:00 h.: tasting of the wine registered in the third edition of the Artisan Wine. Those wishing to participate in this competition must register at the Municipal Library before 21 April.
Sunday 26 April at Plaça Nova.
10:00 h.: Popular lunch and gathering of participants
10:30 h.: Planting and harvesting beans game, organized by the Youth Assembly.
From 11:00 to 14:00 h.: gastronomic gathering in which the beans will be main protagonists, with a selection of tapas at reasonable prices prepared by La Cumbre Restaurant, Tribus Gourmet Dinner, Restaurant Rosita, La Cuina de Xaro, Beni-Asia, Restaurant Club de Golf, Al Raconet and Restaurant Montevideo.
11:00 h.: Tasting of wines participating in the Artisan Wine Competition.
11:00 h.: “The Longest Lima Bean” contest opening
12:00 h.: Eugeni Alemany stand up show
14:00 h.: Lima Bean and artisan wines contests award ceremony
