Old Town Jávea
If you are going to be in Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitachell) during the Easter holidays, you have to visit Jávea Craft Fair, an event to be held from 3 to 6 April.
Besides all the products for sale there, you can enjoy some other outdoor activities at the old town as we show you below:
Friday 3 April
08:30 h.: Hot chocolate and mona (burnt bread) at the municipal market of Jávea for Via Crucis attendants.
13:00 h.: Fair opening enlivened by the Colla Xirimitab’s band.
18:00 h.: “Contante i Sonante” performance with stories and live music by Rodamons Teatre Company at Convento sq.
Saturday 4 April
10:30 to 13:00 h.: Workshops of traditional games and sports for children at Marina Alta Sq.
11:00 h.: Free workshops: cookie decoration, figurines and Easter eggs painting at Church Sq. 12:30 h.: Colla Portitxol and Colla de Nanos Parade by Portitxol dance group in Javea.
17:00 h.: Colla Portitxol Parade and street entertainment at the fairgrounds.
17:30 h.: Knitting and Cakes making workshops at Church Square.
18:30 h.: Storytelling performed by all those who want to participate with their stories, anecdotes and poems along with Rodamons Teatre Company at Convent Sq.
Sunday 5 April
12:00 h.: Sarao Valenciano dance show where all the audience can dance and sing at Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: “Paseo de sonido y canciones” show by Rodamos Teatre Company.
18:00 h.: “La Caja de Despedida” show performed by Rodamons Teatre in Convent Sq.
19:30 h.: “My suitcase and I” Street performance by Circolio company at Convent Sq.
Monday 6 April
11:00 h.: Workshops of Pottery and Socarrats by Art e Manyan at Convent Sq.
12:00 h.: Lindy Hop Workshop by Spirit of St Louis at Convent Sq.
Soler Blasco museum will open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 h. and from 17:00 to 20:00 h.
