Fallas in Valencia
Valencia’s Fallas Festival 2015, has reached the final stretch. Check below the program of events for the upcoming days, including lighted streets, firecracker shows, fireworks, flower offering and burning of Fallas monuments:
18 March 18 (Wednesday)
11:00 h.: at Sagunto St., tribute to poet Maximilano Tous, author of Valencian anthem lyrics. Fireworks show
12:00 h.: at Reino de Valencia St., tribute to Jose´Serrano, author of Valencian anthem music.
14:00 h.: fireworks show at the town hall square.
15:30 h.: flower offering Virgen de los Desamparados along the La Paz and SanVicente Strets.
01:00 h.: Fireworks display at the Paseo de La Alameda (between Las Flores bridge and Exposicion bridge). Nit del Foc.
19 March (Thursday)
11:00 h.: Fallas’ Queens offering of flowers at the Bridge of San Jose in front of the statue of San José.
12:00 h.: Mass in Honor of Patriarch St. Jose at Valencia Cathedral.
14:00 h.: fireworks show at the town hall square.
19:00 h.: fire cavalcade
22:00 h.: Burning of Children’s Fallas.
22:30 h.: Burning of winner Children’s Fallas.
23:00 h.: Burning of Town Hall Children’s Fallas.
00:00 h.: Burning of all fallas in the city.
00:30 h.: Burning of first prize winning Falla
01:00 h.: Firework show and burning of City gall falla at the city hall square
