BTT 12 Hours Challenge Granadella
The Gurugú Club of Javea is organizing the “12 hours BTT challenge Granadella”, a day for lovers of mountain bike on Saturday 20 September 2014.
This challenge consists in completing as many laps as possible to a 10 km circuit during 12 consecutive hours.
You can participate individually in male or female category or in free configuration relay teams of two or four cyclists.
Relays and access to the circuit will be done in a boxes area, where also bikers might find the food and drinks supplies. In case of breakdown or technical problem the biker will have to solve the problem by him/herself and won’t be permitted to receive technical assistance from team members or other bikers.
The kickoff will be at 09:00 h. at Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitaxell).
You can register at Cronomur. Prices vary from 30 to 40 euros depending on the date of registration and the biker is whether or not federated.
The racetrack will be a mix of forest track and trial tracks with little difficulty and a slope of 200 meters.
Being a closed path, the race will be a great attraction for the public since they that can be placed in designated areas where they can watch the riders descending at high speeds or riding through the trees.
