Moraira Festivals
This month Moraira celebrates its festivities in honor of the Virgen del Carmen from 11 to 26 July, with a spectacular Fishermen procession and “bous a la mar” (“bulls in the sea”)

Friday 11 July
19:30 h.: Trumpet and Keyboard concert by Joaquin Cabrera and Josep Vicent Giner in the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados.
21:00 h.: Inauguration of Foto Club L’Andragó exhibition at the Cap d’Or Neighborhood Council seat (Almacenes St.).
Saturday 12 July
12:00 h.: Swimming cross from l’Ampolla beach to l’Andragó
20:00h.: Moncada Band and Teulada Moraira cultural musical group in concert and Club Náutico (Yacht Club).
22:00 h.: Gathering of Authorities, Xaló band and Proclamer in Fortí of Festeros.
22:15 h.: Parade to the Castle Esplanade.
22:30 h.: Proclamation of the festival and Platino orchestra performance.
Sunday 13 July – Final of the Brazil 2014 World Cup
21:00 h.: Screening of final football match of the World Cup 2014 at a giant TV screen at Castle Esplanade. After the match, everybody is invited to El Portet along with the Bataclán Charanga performance. Here you can enjoy a concert performed by Huracan band.
Monday 14 July
20:00 h.: Offering to Virgen de los Desamparados followed by a firework show and Imagen orchestra performance.
Tuesday 15 July Feast in honor of Virgen de los Desamparados
12:00 h.: Mass in honor of town’s patron saint sung by the Teulada Choir.
14:00 h.: Firecracker show.
21:00 h.: Procession and fireworks show.
24:00 h.: Performance of Titanic Orchestra.
Wednesday 16 July – Feast in honor of the Virgen del Carmen
12:00 h.: Mass in honor of the Virgen del Carmen. Firework show after the mass.
13:30 h.: “Palo ensabonat” (Greasy pole) contest at the harbor.
20:30 h.: Solemn Procession in honor of Virgen del Carmen followed by a firework show
24:00 h.: Pato Daniel Orchestra Performance.
Thursday 17 July
11:00 h.: Children’s games at Madrid Ave.
19:30 h.: Children’s Musical “Canta con nosotros” on the Castle Esplanade.
23:00 h.: Spectacular Musical “DANCING LAS VEGAS” on the Castle Esplanade.
Friday 18 July
20:00 h.: “GROUP DANCES DE LA FONTSANTA” (Teulada) Performance through the streets of Moraira.
23:00 h.: Fireworks war at the streets and DISCO PIRAMIDE music show.
Saturday 19 July
21:30 h.: Clubs fiesta at Dr. Calatayud St.
24:00 h.: IBIZA ORCHESTRA Performance.
Sunday 20 July – Day of Senior Citizens
12:00 h.: Parade with Bataclán Charanga band.
13:00 h.: The Festeros invite retired and senior citizens to a wine of honor, with the collaboration of Blasco Winery at Dr Calatayud St. with the performance of Bataclán Charanga and Rondalla Portitxol.
16:00 h.: Water War in the Castle Esplanade.
20:00 h.: Great costume parade with prizes for the most original costume and gifts for the kids by Ale-Hop shop. After that, free beer, soft drinks and cakes courtesy of fiestas committee and Blasco Winery. Dinner at the bullring and dance to the beat of the brass band.
24:00 h.: Bullfight
Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 July
19:00 h.: Bous a la Mar (Bull to the sea)
23:30 h.: Bous a la Mar (Bull to the sea)
Wednesday 23 July
19:00 to 23:30 h.: Continuous session of Bous a la Mar

18:00 h.: XI edition of urban Mile on Paz Ave.
20:30 h.: Flower Power party at the Castle Esplanade. Proceeds will go entirely to CARITAS charity.
