As we promised in a previous post today we bring you the programming of the second week of  Benissa fair in honor of San Antonio. Check below the event schedule from 20 to 26 January 2014:

MONDAY 20, 20:30 h. Lecture: “What do our children feel? Emotional dictionary and practical solutions for the family”. Event free of charge to be held at the University seat. Registration required at raquel@edipdicologos.com.

WEDNESDAY 22 at 20:00 h.: Meditation Session by Juan CapóFerrando at the University seat.

THURSDAY 23, 17:30 h.: Storytelling for Children: “RAPUNZEL” by Oracle de l’ Est, in the Bernat Capó Public Library and at 20:00 h.: Book presentation “El último maestro” by Juan Cayuela in the Auditorium of the University seat.

FRIDAY 24:

12.00 h.: Opening of the exhibition of the Painters of the Francophone Association of Marina Alta at the exhibition halls of the Aula del Mar (La Fustera). Exhibition open until 28 February on Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:30 h. and Saturday from 10:00 to 13:45 h.

18:00 h.: Children’s Day: Fair attractions for 1.50 €

20:00 h.: opening of the Medieval Market at Purisima St., Esglesia Vella  Square, Portal Square, Jaume I Square and San Nicolas St.

13:00 h.: Service of popular tavern with tasting of local foods and traditional tapas at Sociedad Cultural.

The next few days we will publish a new post with the second part of the program including all the events taking place until Sunday January 26 , the day of the show ending Benissa.

SATURDAY 25 at 9:00 Opening of 27th livestock fair: Buy sell and display of all kinds of animals at Palmera St. Opening 1st Exhibition of Autochthonous Poultry at Padre Andrés St.

At 10:00 h., Opening of the first day of the Medieval Market and Workshop “Health and beauty through food” taught by Amparo Santos in Casal de las Asociaciones, room 5.

At 10:30 h. there will be an exhibition of vintage cars at Museum Abargues .

At 13:00 h., service of popular tavern with tasting of local foods and traditional tapas at Sociedad Cultural.

At 17:00 h.: Tasting of chocolate and donuts at Padre Andrés St.

At 19:00 h. and 22:00 h. film session: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” at the Auditorium of the Cultural Center.

20:00 h.: Meeting of Rondallas serenaders at the Centre d’ Art Taller d’ Ivars and service of popular tavern with tasting of local foods and traditional tapas at Sociedad Cultural.

SUNDAY 26 at 9.00 h.: Light-Contact  Little League. Organized by Sifre-Gym Club at Palau Sant Pere.

10:00 h.: Medieval Market and livestock fair and Exhibition of Autochthonous Poultry

Songbirds exhibit organized by the Ifach Ornithological Society at Cami Canor Ave.

Exhibition of ATVs and rescue vehicles on the plot behind Escoto St.

10:30 h.: Exhibition of vintage vehicles and Raspall ball matches in categories baby, juvenile and child in Benissa ratchet

At 11:00 philatelic street market.

At 12.00 h.: Spinach Paella contest and tasting of typical products at D. Joaquin Piera and Dª Mariana Torres Roundabout.

Also at 12:00 h. Pelota Valenciana match at Benissa Ratchet (Hort de Borders Street).

12:30 h.: Exhibition of vehicles.

13:00 h.: service of popular tavern with tasting of local foods and traditional tapas at Sociedad Cultural.

16:00 h.: Pigeon contest at Pinada Selva Area.

16:30 h.: Pelota Valenciana provincial amateur category championship at Ratchet Benissa,  Hort de BordersSt.

At 18:00 h. and 21:00 h. film session: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” at the Auditorium of the Cultural Center.

22:00 h.: Closing of Market Medieval and Sant Antoni Fair 2014.
