Zumbathon at Cumbre del Sol
Last Saturday, the 8th of May, a Super Zumba or Zumbathon dance party was held at Pueblo Montecala, in the Cumbre del Sol urbanization in Poble Nou de Benitachell, a two hour open air class with stunning views.
The Zumbathon at Cumbre del Sol organised by Kimberley Harrison took place to raise funds for the Children with Leukaemia organization and to help Karen Earthy’s nephew, who suffers from cerebral palsy and needs a wheelchair.
Certainly a wonderful initiative that allows people to make a small contribution and achieve something very important between them, while spending a fun Saturday afternoon exercising.
For those who have never heard about Zumba, it is a combination of dance steps with muscle toning or body sculpting movements, a fun way to exercise and burn calories, tone muscles, lose weight and combat stress.
