This week we would like to share with you the Alicante’s Teatro Principal Programming for this October 2013 including music, theater, opera, ballet, musicals, children’s shows, and more.
– Friday 11 October: “The Name of the Rose” stage adaptation of the novel by Umberto Eco
– Tuesday 15 October: “Escuela de Calor” one of the best Spanish pop rock musical plays.
– Saturday 19 October: Concha Velasco is starring the play Hecuba of Euripides, a story about tragedy and revenge. Unlike Hamlet, Hecuba does not hesitate in being the accuser, judge and executioner.
– Tuesday 22 October: La Traviata opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi, Italian original version with consecutive translation in Spanish.
– Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, play The Bad Memory of Antonio Munoz de Mesa, a work that has as its backdrop the real story about stolen babies in Spain in the years 60’s and 70’s.
– Tuesday 29 October mentalist Anthony Blake will present the show “Blake beyond the imagination”.
– Thursday 31 October: Theater play “Jamming”, an improvisational theater show with each performance unique and unrepeatable.
