Today we would like to share with you some information related to “The Cliffs Road”, a part of SL V-50 route at Cumbre del Sol The route has a length of 4 kilometers (about 1 hour to be completed at regular pace) and has an average difficulty.
The trail runs along the Costa Blanca North cliff formation, where hikers can enjoy the magnificent views of the landscape and visiting the remains of the caves used by ancient fishermen, farmers and smugglers. The route finishes at Llebeig Cove, a perfect place for a swim. If you wish, you can continue to Moraira on the path along Viuda Gorge to complete the SL V-50 route.
The route is east oriented, so keep in mind that during the mornings the sun is very intense. For this reason, is advisable to do the route in the afternoon, or start it at the very sunrise and take the trek back at late afternoon after spending the day at Llebeig Cove.
The route starting point is located near the descent to the cove and follows the way of Cova de les Morretes, where you can see Moraig beach at our feet and the Falqui Mountain and Cape de la Nao.
The route is well signposted so you reach can get to Llebeig Cove in a very easy way. Remember to wear proper shoes and to bring water, snacks, swimsuit and a camera to take snaps of the fantastic sea views.
