Festival in Benissa
The festival began in Benissa on 20 April, but the most representative events of these festivities in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta will take place from 26 April as we show you below:
Friday 26 April: Coronation Day at 22:30 h. at Paseo Dolores Piera. After the coronation, the party will continue with a performance by Límite orchestra in Rey Jaime Sq.
Saturday 27 April: Day of Offering
19:30 h.: Offering flowers to Puríssima Xiqueta Virgin and awarding medals to the festival organizers.
00:30 h.: Fireworks by RICASA (Ricardo Caballer)
01:00 h.: MONTECARLO Orchestra Performance in Paseo Dolores Piera.
Sunday 28 April: Day Puríssima
11:30 h.: Holy Mass in honor Puríssima Xiqueta
14:00 h.: Firecracker show
19:00 h.: Procession in honor of the Puríssima Xiqueta and fireworks show
01:00 h.: Euforia orchestra performance
Monday 29 April
14:00 h.: Fireworks show
18.30 h.: Floats Parade and children’s entertainment by SCURAPLATS. After that, free hot chocolate for everyone present.
12:30 h.: Firework night and performance of La Tribu orchestra at Dolores Piera Park.
Tuesday 30 April
14:00 h.: The Festival Committee invites traditional cakes to everyone in Rey Jaime sq.
18:30 h.: Parade
21:00 and 23:30 h.: Heifers release
01:30 h.: Performance of BELICAL, ALEVOSIA, IRATXO and LA RAIZ band at the Germans Ivars Sq.
