The active tourism program called Déjate Llevar 2013 (Let yourself Go 2013) and organized by the towns making up the Vall del Pop Region, Benissa and Teulada-Moraira, will include two interesting activities in Teulada on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17.
On Saturday, 16 March a cultural route around Teulada’s historic city centre will unveil a universo of legends filled with history, where ancient palaces and buildings take us back in time. This is a great opportunity to get to know the history from the source, its evolution, traditions, values and zeitgeist of an era down to our days. Some highlights of the tour are a visit to The Great Martyr Saint Catherine church, the Divina Pastora Hermitage, the Jurats i Justicies Hall, the Sant Vicent Ferrer Hermitage. The tour takes approx.. 2:15 h to complete and the starting point is Teulada’s town Hall Sq at 10:30 h. It costs €8 for adults and €4 for kids. Previous registering required.
On Sunday 17 March, the “Bread Workshop in Teulada”, will go over Roman Bread to today’s. Participants will get to know the different tipes of bread baked from ancient Roman times until now. Registering up to 2 days before the activity required. Place: Centre Ecomuseogràfic: Riu rau. 12 Benimarco St, Teulada at 11:30 h. It takes 1 hour and costs €10 for adults and €4 for kids.
