As every month we bring you the movie listings in original language to be screened at Jayán Movie theater of Jávea port in collaboration with Sete Segell Cinema Club.
Movie sessions will be held on Sundays at 19:30 h. and Monday at 20:00 h.
Sunday 10t and Monday 11March: The Master
2012 American film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson starring Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams. Synopsis: Lancaster Dodd, a brilliant intellectual with strong convictions, creates a religious organization that is very popular in the United States around 1950. Freddie Quell -a young drifter- will become his right hand.
Sunday 17 and Monday 18 March: Beasts of the Southern Wild
2012 American film directed Benh Zeitlin. Synopsis: Hushpuppy is six years old girl who lives in the marshes of the Mississippi River. Her mother has been long disappeared and his father is always partying. She has to live in poor conditions with animals. When a storm raised the water level, Hushpuppy discover that everything she knew was about to collapse. To save her world and her father she had to learn to survive a catastrophe of epic proportions.
Sunday 24 and Monday 25 March: Quartet
2012 British film directed by Dustin Hoffman. Synopsis: In a residence for retired musicians is about to enter a new member who has been rumors are very famous. Reginald, Wilfred and Cecily are left in a state of shock to discover that the new resident is Jean, his former partner in a vocal Quartet that they had.
