Movies in Jávea
Today we bring you the full schedule of films in original language (English, German, French) to be screened in Jayan movie theater in Jávea in January. Screenings will take place on Sundays at 19:30h. and Mondays at 20:00 h.

Sunday 13 and Monday 14 January.
American film directed by Tony Kaye. Synopsis: Bathes Henry is a teacher with a special talent for connecting with young people, but as substitute teacher, never stays long enough to maintain a true bond with colleagues or students, but everything changes when he is assigned to a school full of apathetic youth.

British film directed by Ken Loach. Synopsis: Robbie is a young father who has a criminal past hard to get rid of. To avoid prison, Robbie has to do some social services, where he meet Henry, his teacher, who introduce him on the art of whiskey distilleries. Robbie discovers that he is a unique and taster who can identify the best liquors.
Shun Li and the Poet (Io sono Li)
Sunday 27 and Monday 28 January.
Italian and French Movie directed by Andrea Segre. Synopsis: Shun Li is sent to a small town on an island in the Venetian lagoon to work as a waitress. Bepi is a Slavic fisherman and bar regular customer for years. The meeting between the two will become an escape from loneliness and a dialogue between two different -but not so distant- cultures.
