Oktoberfest Calpe 2012
As we commented in a last week’s post, tomorrow 25 October will kick off the Calpe’s 2012 Oktoberfest, the most famous beer festival in Costa Blanca North organized each year by Club Carnaval Calpe.
The next few days you can enjoy -besides great German beer and typical dishes- concerts every night, contests and more in a tent located by Calpe’s tennis Club every day from 18:00 h.

Thursday 25
20:00 h.: Calpe’s Oktoberfest 2012 opening with the traditional barrel sting by the town mayor, 2011 Festival Queen Farewell and crowning of the 2012 Festival Queen.
Friday 26
18:00 h.: Nostalgia show with music from the last 20 years, Oktoberfest Party with Steffi and beer mugs lifting contest.
Saturday 27
Steinsberfer Party show with music from the 70’s to 90’s and Night Fever Party with Steinsberger Partyexpress.
Sunday 28
11:00 h.: “New Orleans Hot Dogs” jazz band performance and, later in the night, leather pants contest
Monday 29
Steinsberger band and Doris and Bernd music performance
Tuesday 30
Nostalgia show with music from the last 20 years with Soris, Cherilyn and the Steinsberger. Then beer mugs lifting contest.
Wednesday 31
Halloween-Party and nonstop party with Steinsberger.
Thursday 1
11:00 h.: Live country music and later, evening with Steinsberger music and log splitting contest.
Friday 2
Music performances of Steinsberger, Sicke Zacke Heu Heu and Party Oktoberfest.
Saturday 3
Steinsberfer Party show with music from the 70’s to 90’s
Sunday 4
11:00 h.: Festival Finale with paella contest
