The Xábia Yacht Club along with the local Department of Sports and the collaboration of Xàbia City Council are organizing the 3rd Jávea Swimming Crossing. The event will take place on Sunday 16 September in two different courses: a 4500 meters long that will kick off at 08:30 h. from the Caleta beach and a 400-meter long starting at Grava Beach at 10:30 h.
The B Course (4500 meters) will follow the route from Caleta Beach to Xàbia Port across Jávea Bay along the swimming area. Swimmers doing the race out of the demarcated area will be disqualified and removed from the water.
The handing of material, competitors’ numbers and cloakroom service will take place from 07:00 to 08:15 h.
The A Course will be a triangular circuit starting and finishing in the port of Javea at 10:30 h. or when the last participant of the 4500 race arrives.
Participation in the event is open to everyone. People aged between 12 and 18 years will have to specifically request the organization wish to participate, and parents or guardians will be required to be present at the activity day to collect the dorsal number and material.
The registration fee for this competition is 15 €, which will entitle the participation, commemorative bag, shirt and food supplies the day of the race.
Deadline for registration will be on Thursday 13 September at noon. Number of participant limited to 300 swimmers.
