Moraira Festivals in 2012
The fiestas to honour Our Lady of the Helpless (Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados) and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Patron saint iof the fishermen, is one of the most awaited festivals of all summer in Moraira and start now.
SATURDAY 14 JULY 2012: “DAY OF THE OFFERING”
19:30 h. Wreath in honour of our patron saint, the Virgin of the Helpless
00:00 h. Dance party with the MYTH orchestra.
SUNDAY JULY 15, 2012: “FEAST IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY PATRON OF THE HELPLESS”
12:00 h. Solemn Mass in honour of our patron saint, the Virgin of the Helpless, sung by the choir of Teulada. Great Mascletà by Ricardo Caballer pyrotechnics.
21:00 h. Solemn procession in honour of our patron saint, the Virgin of the Helpless. 21 shoots to celebrate the starting point of the processions. PIRO MUSICAL fireworks on the Esplanade of the Castle of Moraira.
00:00 pm OXIDE orchestra show.
MONDAY 16 JULY 2012 “FEAST OF OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL”
12:00 h. Solemn Mass in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, kilometer-long fireworks and firecrackers.
20:30 h. Solemn procession by land and sea in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Then, water fireworks castle. At 00:00, dance party with the FREEDOM group.
TUESDAY 17, WEDNESDAY 18 AND THURSDAY 19 JULY
“Bous a la Mar” (bulls to the sea) at 19:00 and 23:30 hours.
FRIDAY 20 JULY 2012 “DAY OF THE KIDS”
• From 10:00 h to 14:00 h: Water games on La Paz Avenue; at 18:00h, greasy pole at Dr. Calatayud street. At 3:30 pm., spectacular Correfoc; and at 00:30 h, great party with ACTIVA FM radio station on the esplanade of the Castle with Disco PIRAMIDE and DJ Santi Bertomeu.
SATURDAY 21 JULY 2012 “THE DAY OF CLUBS AND COMMISSIONS”
10:30 h: Popular lunch in the plaza of the Church
18:00 h: IX Edition of the Urban Mile Moraira on the La Paz Avenue.
21:00 h. Clubs and committees dinner at Calle Doctor Calatayud.
23:30 h. Dancing with the SUPER MAGIC! orchestra
SUNDAY, JULY 22, 2012 “GREAT END OF THE FIESTA”
14:00 h. Paella contest in the Urban Forest, WATER WAR at 16:30.
