Ruben Blades live in Valencia
Check below the complete program of the Concerts at Valencia July Festival 2012 to be held at Jardines de Viveros Park featuring international acts like George Benson, Ruben Blades and Julieta Venegas, along with Spanish groups such as Love of Lesbian, Amaral and Vetusta Morla.
Friday 6 July: Los Enemigos. A.special concert celebrating their reunion 10 years after their farewell. After that show, Love of Lesbian will present the latest album work “La noche eterna, los días no vividos” (“The eternal night, the day not lived”).
Saturday 7 July: Amaral present their new album “Hacia lo Salvaje” (“Into the Wild”), a triple gold record in Spain and double silver album at European level. After Amaral, Cyan will close the night with a concert presenting songs from their new album “Historias para no romperse”.
Wednesday 11 July: Concert of soul and jazz performed by George Benson, who will review his five decades career in a very special evening.
Thursday 12 July: performance of Andalusian artist Pitingo, who will present his latest album “Malecom Street.”
Friday 13 July: The famous Spanish band Hombres G will perform a show reviewing their classic songs.
Saturday 14 July: Night of Galician Rock in Valencia with Los Suaves and La Fuga bands.
Sunday 15 July: Concert of the famous Panamanian singer and six times Grammy Awarded Ruben Blades. Blades is considered the creator and most important performer of “Intellectual Salsa.”
Wednesday 18 July: Macaco group will present “El Murmullo del Fuego” (“The Murmur of Fire”) as an opening act of Mexican singerf Julieta Venegas.
Thursday 19 July: Performance of Spanish Band Vetusta Morla and Mexican alternative rock band Zoe.
Friday July 20: The Andalusia band Chambao will perform a very special concert to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.
