San Juan Bonfires Festival at Javea
The festivals of San Juan in Jávea this year will take place from Friday 8 to Sunday 24 June. For these more than two weeks, there will be plenty of activities for everyone as we show below:
Friday 8 June
17:30 blood donation in the Casal de Fogueres on the En Forn street .
Saturday 9 June Proclamation of the Festival Queen
09:30 h.: 10th Ping Pong Open in the sports pavilion.
10:30 h. 16th Bonfires Chess Tournament for Kids in the Social Center.
17:00 h. 28th Bicycle race “Fogueres de Sant Joan” Trophy 2012
21:00 h. Proclamation of the junior Queen and her court.
23:30 h. Proclamation of the Mayou Queen and her court.
01:30 h. Performance of “La Mundial” Orchestra at Constitucion Square.
Sunday 10 June
09:00 h.: Custom bikes meeting at the parking of Palmela Ave.
Tuesday 12 June
18:00 h.: Mounting of Boxes at the parking of Palmela Ave.
Thursday 14 June: Day of the Proclamation
19:30 h.: Parade of the Court of Honor, Ladies and Queens.
21:30 h.: Proclamation of the holidays.
22:00 h.: “Bring your own dinner” in Constitution Square.
01:00 h.: Street discotheque at Constitution Square.
Friday 15 June
12:30 h.: Heifers release in Palmela Avenue.
14:00 h.: and 19:00 h.: Entry of heifers and bulls.
20:00 h.: Ping Pong Tournament organized by CSB Club
22:00 h.: Concert of Bocairent Musical Association and Music and arts Center of Xàbia at the Queen Sofia park.
00:00 Bullfight and Fire. The exhibition will begin with an entry of bulls with the horns set in fire
Mobile Discotheque from 02:00 h. until 05:00 h. at the bullring.
