Please find below the calendar of events taking place in the Teulada Moraira Auditorium during January 2012. This venue gathers together one of the most comprehensive calendar of cultural events all across Costa Blanca North.
– “Temps d’Escultures” —Sculptures time— Exhibition by Quico Torres: THis exhibition will be open to the public in the exhibitions hall until 29 April 2012. Feel free to come and visit it from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10:00 h to 13:00 h and from 18:00 h to 20:00 h.
– Epiphany concert on Friday, 6 January at 19:00 h: This is the first time that Felicitas Prikopa and her Hall Orchestra come and visit this place to fill the atmosphere with Viennese music. The will play music from: Suppe, Mozart, Falla, Giménez, Bizet and —of course— JOHANN STRAUSS. Admission costs 12 EUR.
-OMA —Marina Alta Orchestra— opens the Season of Chamber Music (part I) on 15 January 2012. Admission costs 12 EUR. Those looking to attend more concerts of this chamber music season can buy combi tickets. OMA will play works from Grieg, Bartók, Finzi and Holst.
– Crimen Perfecto —The perfect crime— is the first of many theatre plays to take place in the Auditorium in 2012. It will be staged on 21 January and will feature famous Spanish actors and actresses such as Jorge Sanz, Maria Castro, Pablo Puyol, Antonio Albella and José Sánchez-Orosa. Directed by Víctor Conde. In Spanish. This play pays homage to Alfred Hitchcock and his sibylline stories: spying on others’ lives, wishing others’ women, exploring extreme situations and exposing the hard and frustrating art of killing. All sums up on a splendid display of theatrical and cinematographic languages coexisting on an only stage.
– OMA —Marina Alta Orchestra— concert: On Sunday 12 February 2012, as part of the The Great Symphonies, Part II. Works to be played: Mozart’s Symphonies 39 and 40 (among others). Ticket price: 12 EUR.
– OMA —Marina Alta Orchestra— concert: On 4 March 2012, as part of the Baroque Music Season, Part II. Works by Corelli, Vivaldi, Haendel and Albinoni. Ticket Price: 12 EUR.
