Rock of Ifach, Calpe. Free tours
Today we are glad to report about a new leisurely alternative in Costa Blanca: The guided tours to the Rock of Ifach —Peñón de Ifach— in Calpe. These tours are held as part of the program called ¿Qué diría Ifach si pudiera hablar? (a loose translation would be “what would the Rock of Ifach say if it could speak?), With walks through the environmental and cultural heritage which is the Rock of Ifach Nature Park.
The next visits are scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday 16th November, 30th November and 14th December 2011. These will take place at 10:00 h mornings and the starting point is the Nature Park Info Office, located on 44 Ejércitos Españoles Avenue.
The activity takes about 2:30 hours to complete and the path is considered to be of low difficulty. It ends at the tunnel.
It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and clothing, appropriate for this time of the year and for hiking. This activity is recommended for people over 12.
