Oktoberfest Calpe
Everything is ready in Calpe for the 2011 Oktoberfest Beer Festival. This year’s Oktoberfest in Calpe will be held from 6 to 16 October in the tent located behind the Tennis Club (15.000 m2 tent in the Partida Gargasindi).
Below there is the full schedule released by Carnaval Club Calpe –organizers of this fantastic party in Calpe– to keep yourself informed about all the planned events, among which you can find Paulaner beer drinking and German typical disheseating :
Thursday 06-10-2011 at 20:00 h: Great inauguration, opening of a Palauner keg by the town mayor, 2010 Festivity Queen’s farewell and coronation of Queen of Oktoberfest 2011.
Friday 07-10-2011: Classic drinking music and beer mugs rising contest
Saturday 08-10-2011: Steinsberger oldie night with classic music of the years 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and Night Fever Party with “Steinsberg Partyexpress.”
Sunday 09-10-2011 at 11:00 h: Apperitive and “New Orleans Hot Dogs” jazz band concert and later that day Andy-Zicke Zacke Heu Heu.
Monday 10-10-2011: Music with the performance of Steinsberg and Doris and Bernd.
Tuesday 11-10-2011: Nostalgia show with music of the past 20 years with Dori, Cherilyn and Steinsbergem.
Wednesday 12-10-2011: Snacks at 11:00 h with live country music and evening performance of Steinsberg and sawing logs contest.
Thursday 13-10-2011: Nonstop party with Steinsberg, and “Oldies but Goldies” show with Doris and Cherilyn.
Friday 14-10-2011: More beer and food, live music with Steinsberg and a new edition of the log sawing contest.
Saturday 15-10-2011: Party with Steinsberg music from the 70’s to contemporary acts.
Sunday 16-10-2011: Paella contest and nonstop music until the end of the party (around 20:00 h)
