Valencia Formula 1 street circuit
The city of Valencia is preparing the last details to bring the Grand Prix of Europe of Formula 1 for the fourth consecutive year, to be held this time on the weekend of 24 to 26 June.
Once again, Valencia is pleased to be a national reference in organising not only cultural and traditional events,but also sporting ones, as the Tennis ATP Open 500 and the Global Champions Tour horse race.
The capital of the Valencia Region is all set to host one of the elite sporting events worldwide. The urban circuit in which competition takes place is one of the most thrilling of the championship and no doubt, is one of the best designed, by integrating contemporary architecture with the beauty of the Mediterranean Sea and the America’s Cup Port.
A new feature this year as the event’s organization is called “Pit Walk”, which brings fans to the area of the pit lane to see a close eye on Formula 1 drivers tuning their cars and even get some autograph Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton.
