With the arrival of inspiring spring, we all start to fantasize about our next holidays soaking up the sun at the beach.

For starters, we wanted to share with you some photographs we made of Playa Moraig cove at Cumbre del Sol, in Poble Nou de Benitachell, a town belonging to the province of Alicante, only 7 km from Jávea and 4 km from Teulada-Moraira.

The photos were taken last Thursday 12th May 2011. As you will see, Playa Moraig —also known as Cala Moraig— is in fantastic conditions, ready to welcome you to a nice day out at the beach, under the sun. Moraig cove was included by Mucho Viaje, a Spanish magazine, in the list of “best beaches on the Iberian peninsula”.

A few days ago, the 2 beach stalls installed year after year are open already, to mark the start of the season. This is one less excuse to come to this beach. The water temperature might not be the warmest, but the air is nice enough to enjoy the sun on your skin and have delicious paella by the sea.

Also, there are rental services available now: sun loungers, scooters, sun shades, kayaks and other items.

If you have not visited this cove yet, we recommend you to pay it a visit. Its waters are crystalline and it has been recognized by many national newspapers as one of the best coves in all of Spain.

Playa Moraig is not the only beach in Poble Nou de Benitachell: there are two more, featured in articles like the Tiestos and the Llebeig coves, as you will tell on this article published in El País, the most relevant newspaper in Spain.

Next articles will bring more information about nice places to visit in Poble Nou de Benitachell, a beautiful coastal town with many landscapes waiting to be discovered.
