From 5th February to 15th March, the ninots —human-sized and bigger papier maché dolls— will be exhibited in the Outside area of the Nuevo Centro Shopping Centre.
This event is part of the preparation events for the Falles de Valencia, the most important fiesta in Valencia, where fire takes centre stage and ninots of up to 15 metres high are burnt in spectacular bonfires.
The inauguration of the exhibition was attended by figures of the political and cultural scene in Valencia, such as the Mayor, the Falleras Mayores, the Falleras’ courts of honour and juries, among others.
760 pieces are being showcased now. One of the ninots will be pardoned from being burnt and prizes will be awarded for the best ninot in each category.
Nuevo Centro is located on Pío XII Avenue and you can also reach it by metro, getting down at Túria station.
The opening hours of the exhibition are Monday to Sunday, 10:00 h to 21:00 h.
The admission fee is € 2 for adults and € 1 for large groups, senior citizens and kids.
