Beer takes centre stage in Calpe, from October 7th to 17th
Calpe celebrates Oktoberfest for another consecutive year, following what has become a tradition already.
This beer festival has become increasingly important, earning a well deserved place among the regional celebrations.
Even though this is a typical German party, nowadays the Oktoberfest is a multicultural meeting point where people from all places gather to enjoy good beer, delicious gastronomy, joyful music and concerts.
The Steinberger will cheer up the party for 6 days. They will be sharing stage with the jazz band New Orleans Hot Dogs, Franci+Nicki+Alex+Bernd, Zicke Zacke Heu Heu, Oaner Gehr Noch, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music, typical Bavarian dances, The Prospectors, Gatos Viejos, Old School Rockers, After Midnight and Big Jack’s Rythm’n Blues Band.
Anyone on the mood for a challenge can join the beer mug lifting or the log sawing contests.
Special features of this Oktoberfest edition include Tourist Day (October 10th) and a classic cars and bikes exhibition (October 17th).
