Cycling Day in Cumbre del Sol
This week we had the privilege to enjoy a cycling day with the presence of Miguel Indurain, Perico Delgado, Óscar Pereiro, Fernando Escartín, Carlos Sastre, Iñigo Cuesta, Dori Ruano and cycling aficionados such as car driver Roberto Merhi and sports journalist Carlos de Andrés, among others, as you can see in the photos below.
This was a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to personally meet the legends of cycling who participated in this event organized by the sponsors of the Tour of Spain. The cyclists and some few luck enthusiasts toured the route up to scenic spot of Puig de la Lorença, the same one to be covered in the 9th stage of “La Vuelta” (Spanish cycling tour) on Sunday 27 August, with finish line at Cumbre del Sol.
