Gran Fondo Cycling Tour
Join the Gran Fondo Cycling Tour 2016 to be held on 13 November: a cycling day around the Marina Alta zone starting and finishing in Calpe!
This circuit –approved by the Cycling Federation of Valencia- will be motor traffic controlled so all participants will enjoy a sports day with maximum safety and tranquility.
The cycling circuit will pass through the following points of interest:
- Puig de la Llorença-Cumbre del Sol along the same road followed by the 9th stage of the Tour of Spain 2015. Difficult level 2 due to the 3.5 km climb of up to 27% slopes.
- Coll de Rates: same road followed by the 9th stage of the 2010 Tour of Spain. Important mountain port noted for its beauty and very well regarded by professional cyclists. Difficulty level 2 due to a 6 km climb with 16% slopes.
- Vall de Ebo: path of the Spanish Cycling Tour of 2008. Another Level 2 climb with 8km of magnificent views with slopes of up to 14%.
