Today we would like to share with you the news that we just got: The province of Alicante will host a time trial in the Tour of Spain 2016. This news us especially great for us since Poble Nou de Benitachell will be important part of the route once again.
We will have the opportunity to enjoy once again the most important cycling event in Spain since the very good organizational and logistical results of the 2015’s ninth stage of the Tour which took place on 30 August and counted with Grupo VAPF’s active cooperation.
The time trial will start depart from Xabia and will finish at Calp before passing through towns such as Benitatxell, Teulada, Moraira and Benissa.
Xabia council has already contacted the municipalities involved and responsible for the race in order to coordinate services, resources, security and define the course so all the fans and followers can enjoy this sport event in the best possible way.
