Tour of Spain 2015 at Benitachell
Street works and preparations are already carried out for the ninth stage of the Tour Spain 2015 to be held on Sunday 30 August 2015 and which finish line will be located at Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitachell).
Grupo VAPF contributed in the improvements requested by the organizing committee of the Tour of Spain 2015 through funding the work to adapt the finish area and the creation of a parking lot with capacity for 600 cars, a two floored trailer for accredited journalists, one for the podium, a plateau for TV, a VIP area and a medical center.
We have also prepared a map showing the route of the 9th stage of the Tour of Spain 2015 from Torrevieja to Cumbre del Sol.
The tour will run twice through Cumbre del Sol: first in the way to Jávea and a second lap reaching the highest part of the town.
The map shows itinerary, route in Cumbre del Sol, location of the finish line (podium and VIP area), public parking areas, caravan parking, medical services, toilets and more.
Since this Tour’s lap was officially announced, many cyclists have made the route and were pleasantly surprised and even Rafa Valls from AS newspaper compare the route with Peña Cabarga and Montaña Verde.
