The gyotaku (魚 拓) (Gyo “fish” Taku “rub”) is an original Japanese artistic traditional technic dating from the mid-1800’s. This form of natural impression was used by fishermen who wanted to have a record of their best catches before it became an art form.
Artist Victoria Rabal (Molí Paperer Museum (Barcelona) and Tallers D’Art – Paper Director) is teaching this workshop. Rabal has taught several workshops and conferences on paper.
