Festival in Jávea
Today we would like to share with you the weekend’s schedule for Jávea’s Festival del Mar (Sea festival) 2014, a Marine, business, tourist, gastronomic, cultural and sporting event to be held at Jávea’s Port.
Saturday 24 May:
10:00 to 20:00 h.: Fair Exhibition and stands, artisan Mediterranean market and children’s activities.
10:00 to 11:00 h.: 13th Surfski and Sea Kayak League in categories children, cadets and traditional (Canoeing Club Jávea).
11:00 h.: “Port of Dreams” Theatrical guided tour at the Port. Tckets at the tourist offices
11:00 to 12:00 h.: Free Sup Pilates Class by Blanca Fit (Sign in at 634 311 726).
12:00 to 14:00 h.: Introduction to Stand – Up Paddle (Mobe 7).
11:00 to 17:00 h.: Bottomed boat trip for only 2 €, with departures from the Port of Jávea at 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00 h.
11:00 to 20:00 h.: Art Installation by Mari Mari and Maria Jose Cholbi. Curators: Isabel Bilbao and Josep Ginestar.
12:00 to 13:00 h.: Lecture “Sea Shepherd: Defend, Save and Protect”, taught by Richard Auger, Sea Shepherd Spain at Posit of Javea.
13:00 to 15:00 h.: Special menus at Gastromar participating restaurants.
13:30-14:30 h.: “An Introduction to Oysters”. Lecture.
16:00-19:30 h.: Introduction to Stand Up Paddle
17:00 h.: 13th Surfski and Sea Kayak League. Female category.
20:30 to 21:00 h.: Miquel Suay Fashion Show at the Promenade .
19:00 to 23:00 h.: GastroMar.
23:00 h.: Concert at Cala Bandida (Fishing Pier, Local 1 ). Free welcome Cocktail or glass of Champagne.
Sunday 25 May:
09:30 h.: Open Water Swimming Crossing from the Grava beach.
10:00-17:00h.: Fair Exhibition and stands, artisan Mediterranean market and children’s activities.
