Festival in Jávea
The weekend from 23 to 25 May everybody is invited to enjoy the 3rd Jávea’s Sea Festival to be held in the Paseo del Puerto promenade.
This event is a cultural, tourist, commercial and sports event organized by the Association of traders and businessmen of Duanes del Mar (Sea Customs), where companies present their latest products and season novelties in a weekend full of activities, exhibitions, workshops , aquatic shows and parades.
We would like to inform you that there is a canoeing competition scheduled for 25 May in the framework of th Festival. The event will take place at 10:00 h. with kickoff and finish line at the north point of La Grava Beach. This year, the race will have journalist and writer Angeles Ruiz as sponsor of the event. Ruiz has written –among other genders- more than a dozen cookbooks, including “Sabor a Mar” (Sea Taste), a book about the fishes of the Mediterranean and its importance in our nutrition throughout history.
