EU Citizens’ Registration
Benitachell Town informs about the deadline for registration of EU citizens in local census through a press release recently issued. That press release states that EU citizens must renew their census registration at City Hall before 15 December 2013; otherwise the INE (Spanish National Statistics Institute) will consider that the citizen is no longer living in the previously registered address.
In the press release the City council notes that:
– Citizens with permanent residence must confirm their census registration every 5 years.
– Citizens without permanent residence must confirm their registration every 2 years.
