Jávea International Jazz Festival
Once again we have the opportunity to enjoy the finest jazz in town with the Javea International Jazz Festival to be held from 3 to 5 August. The concerts will take place every day at 22:30 h. at Constitucion Sq. featuring the acts we show you below:
Saturday 3 August: Omar Sosa Trio
Omar Sosa is one of the most versatile jazz artists on the current music scene. This writer, producer, pianist and percussionist fuses a broad spectrum of world music and electronic elements with contemporary Afro-Cuban roots to create an urban, cool and original sound with a deep Latin jazz feeling. On stage, Omar Sosa is a charismatic figure who gets the best of his fellow musicians with a dynamic execution and ability to improvise.
Sunday 4 August 4: Kiko Berenguer, introducing his new album “Aire” featuring Tomasito.
Kiko Berenguer is one of the leading saxophonists of his generation. His unique style, forged with rich musical experience, is considered one of the most original and innovative in the contemporary jazz music.
