The City of Poble Nou de Benitachell publishes the financial information related to year-end 2012, which was closed with a surplus of € 426,000
The Town of El Poble Nou de Benitachell ended the year of 2012 with positive numbers. Mayor Josep Femenia reported that the last year’s accounts ended with a positive result of € 426,376, a great result given the Spanish economic crisis.
According to the report submitted by the Mayor, 2012 revenues amounted to € 4,254,850.86 and expenses totaled € 3,828,474.04. Also during 2012 the town has covered loans for € 450,565.08.
According to municipal data, at this time the bank balance is € 1,232,772.57 and the pending taxes and debt to the government amounts € 941,000, not taking in account the 2012 tax collection.
Positive balance will be invested in town improvement and other local competencies.
