This afternoon will be a hiking trail guided route visiting Barraca Cove (SL_CV 97) at 19:00 h. This activity is free of charge and there is no need to pre-register to attend, so there’s still time to grab your trekking gear and show up at the Tourist Info Office. This route takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to be completed and is considered of low difficulty. Those wishing to attend this route must bring water, proper footwear, camera and a swimsuit.
Tomorrow 17 August 2012 another guided trekking route will take place along the Mediterranean coastline all the way to Cape San Antonio. This will be a night time hiking route considered of low difficulty, but still quite demanding because of the 10.3 km length and 190 meters
vertical drop. The activity will kick-off from Aduanes del Mar Tourist Info (Javea Port) at 21.00 h., so most of the trekking time will be done under the moonlight.
From the port of Javea, trekkers will go up to the lighthouse of Cape San Antonio, where there is a superb sky view far from the city lights. The trail will follow roads and paths of the Montgo Natural Park to Xàbia Mills and San Antonio slope back to the starting point.
Advance registration is mandatory (click here). After receiving a confirmation, you must make a 3 € payment or money transfer in the bank account of the organizing company.
Don’t forget to bring proper shoes, food and water, comfortable clothing, ID and flashlight.
