5 August Richard Galliano concert
Galliano is an exceptionally versatile musician, able to make his mark in all kinds of musical contexts, from solo appearances to play with a band as big as the Brussels Jazz Orchestra in 2008. His exceptional skills as a solo artist are now widely recognized, and continues to explore a wide range of music without losing the classic quality that found in the ballads like “Día de Amor”, recorded with Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Charlie Haden and Cinelu Mino, or the French touch that links Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf, with trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.

Andrea Motis is a young saxophonist, trumpeter and jazz singer which plays along Joan Chamorro (her professor) who also is the director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band.
