From 2 to 13 November, Poble Nou de Benitachell celebrates the Elderly Cultural Week. Check below the complete schedule for the upcoming days:
Tuesday 8 November: Trip to Biar town, visiting the Parish Church, the Shrine of Our Lady of Grace. The afternoon will end with a Handcrafted Pottery workshop.
Wednesday 9 November: “The language of advertising: rhetorical strategy serving the persuasion.” Lecture by Joan M. Perujo, Professor of the University of Alicante.

Thursday 10 November: Cocas (typical dessert dish from regional cuisine) and dance by Canelo

Friday 11 November 11: farce “De contar-ho a passar-ho” (From tell it to live it) played by Nou Grupo de Gorga Cultural Association

Saturday 12 November: Rondalla de Crevillente will perform a wide repertoire of popular songs from various authors and genres including waltz, Havana, boleros, etc..

Sunday 13 November: celebrations finale with a Mass and procession, performance of Colla de Dolçainers de Benitatxell “La Llebetjà”, vin d’honneur, fireworks and dance. At the end of the acts, the oldest member of the Association will receive a bouquet.

In addition, on 14 November there will be a traveling exhibition at the social center called “Macma” showing the crafts and products of la Marina region.
