All Saints Fair Denia
This week we propose you to enjoy a unique event in Valencia Region: the All Saints Fair of Cocentaina 2011 which this year celebrates its 665th edition. The main difference with other All Saints Fairs is that in in this one, visitors can seemore than 400 stands related to farm and livestock, including cattle auctions and machinery exhibition. This fair also brings an open air market with activities like medieval handcrafts, Arabic souk and typical Spanish cuisine stalls.
Parallel to the main events, there are several exhibitions scheduled that certainly will amuse all visitors:
Saturday 29 October
– Exhibition of medieval horseback games at 16:30 h.
Sunday 30 October
– Mount and Dressage exhibition at 12:00 h.
– Pulling and dragging exhibition at 16:00 h.
– Beer Festival from 18:00 to 00:00 h.
Monday 31 October
– Pelota Valenciana Match at 11:00 h.
Tuesday 1 November 1
– Traditional breakfast at 09:00 h.
– Pelota Valenciana Match at 11:00 h.
-Juego de la Sortija (medieval horseback Ring Game) at 12:00 h.
Also in this year visitors can enjoy concerts, live performances, street discotheque, exhibitions, theater plays, juggling, and a Book Fair at the Comtal Palace square and “Fair and Fiesta” tent
