Benitachell’s Vineyards
Today we would like to bring you an activity aimed to show the a day in vineland’s life in Benitachell. “Atardecer entre Viñedos” (“Sunset between Vineyards”) guided tour is an opportunity to enjoy a sunset in a beautiful vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean Sea while you gather your own muscat grapes; a premium Marina Alta produce and soul of great wines and mistelas. Riurau de la Torra
This year several municipalities of the Costa Blanca have been working to raise awareness of the “RiuRaus” buildings. These constructions are closely tied to the raing culture of the landscape of the Marina region. The Valencian Riuraus are emblematic and unique worldwide, and from eighteenth to early twentieth centuries were used to convert the Muscat grape in raisins.
Benitachell is one of the municipalities that are working to recover and publicize this traditional construction through the creation of cultural walking routes to places such as the “Riurau of Torra” a private property currently under rehabilitation. The riurau main features are the pillars of rough stone and wooden raisin drying ovens. (more…)
Moraig path
The Department of Environment Benitachell is organizing a guided hiking route to Llebeig Cove on Saturday 19 July.
The activity will be guided by a Town’s Department of Environment specialist who will provide information about the geological formations of the area as well as the typical fauna and flora. Those interested in attending must sign in at the tourist office (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 h) or via email at turisme@elpoblenoudebenitatxell.org. (more…)

The town council of Benitachell published the basis for the awarding process of the last vacancy place in Benitachell market.
Those interested in participating in the awarding process may submit their applications to the Town Hall until next Monday 21 July. The rules of the competition are available at the municipal offices and the Town Hall website. (more…)
