Muchoviaje magazine featuring the top 20 Spanish beaches
The Muchoviaje magazine (Year V no. 61) has this month published an article dedicated to the Top 20 Best Beaches where you can hide this summer, a selection of beaches on the Iberian Peninsula which includes the Moraig Beach in Benitachell (Alicante).
The article reads: “Having lost our way through the curves of Cumbre del Sol, this treasure of the Mediterranean Sea appears at our feet as the road drops steeply with a 22% incline. A real gift of the Gods. The cove has a beach bar which is a delight during the week, hammocks to rent for anyone who finds it impossible to lie on pebbles, a mishmash of languages and big jumps from the rocks. But the long lasting memories will be of the translucent waters. “

Views from Pueblo Panorama in the Dalias area of Cumbre del Sol
Video of the Dalias Residential Estate at Cumbre del Sol with some of the best panoramic views at Cumbre del Sol. In the video we can see the sea view from the Dalias Residential Estate, both of the apartments at “Pueblo Panorama” and “Vistamar”, and of the area of plots for detached houses with private pools.
In the video you can see several pictures of houses and villas built in the Dalias Residential Estate, so you can see the type of buildings in the area and appreciate the slight slope of the plots gives the villas a permanent sea view.

Sea views from Cumbre del Sol
Each residential area within the Cumbre del Sol urbanization in Benitachell (Alicante) is unique and exclusive and has its own characteristics that define the construction of houses in that particular area. For this reason we include a video of the Cumbre del Sol Residential Estate Camelias, with images of the sea views from the houses and villas, of the Moraig beach, and a great virtual tour inside a villa in the Camelias Residential Estate.

The damaged Moraig beach in Cumbre del Sol
The heavy storms of the 14th of December 2009 caused landslides at the Moraig Beach in Poble Nou de Benitachell (Alicante), badly affecting the parking area, which has been severely damaged.
A few months ago, the repair works to the damaged area were approved, with the go ahead to rebuild the breakwater and replace the asphalt surface with loose material such as gravel, similar to the materials found naturally at the cove, as this will significantly reduce the damage in the event of the water surpassing the breakwater during a storm.
