Once again, the CEMA (Marina Alta sport Consortium) is organizing the “Camina per la Marina Alta amb la Lluna” (“Walk under the moonlight at the Marina Alta”), a nighttime sports activity aimed to show the beautiful local landscapes during the night.

Today we would like to bring you some information about “Moraig Fault route”: one of the most interesting outdoors leisure option around Cumbre del Sol (Poble Nou de Benitachell). This stunning trail runs parallel to Moraig Cove, passes through Cova dels Arcs and gets all the way to the sea.

 

Down the road that leads to the Moraig Cove (about 150 m. before reaching gettong there) you can find the path that leads to a wooden railing at your right hand, located on the edge of an abyss, from which you can observe a fault surface. Today we bring a new sporting and touristic proposal for those who enjoy trekking activities around the Marina Alta area. These activities will be carried out during nighttime under the moonlight.

 

Saturday 2 August Javea–Portixol:

The route starts at 20:00 h. in the Blanca Cove of Jávea covering the route of Portixol Cross, Cap Prim, Barraca Cove and Portixol. This route offers superb views of the wilderness and historical sites. This is a low impact, circular route of 8 km that can be completed in 4 hours. (more…)
