Margalló Mountain Club of Benissa is organizing the 2^nd “The last Moorish by the Sierra de Ferrer” Alcalalí mountain cross and race for next Sunday 22 September.

The name of this route is due to the escape and hide of the Moor rebels to inaccessible places trying to escape from expulsion. In 1609, the Moors gathered in the “Serra Ferrer” mountain range to fight the last battle. (more…)
