Moraig Cove

Moraig Cove regains its blue flag, an award that was first obtained in 2013 and -with the exception of 2015- has maintained during all these years.

This is definitely a great reward for all the effort made to preserve the optimal conditions of the area in a year in which the regulations were more demanding than usual and with a very strict directive of fresh water and wastewater treatment.

Spain continues to lead this flag awarded by the ADEAC-FEE (Asociación de Educación Ambiental y del Consumidor – Foundation for Environmental Education), which takes in consideration the quality of the waters, services and facilities, environmental information and education, environmental management and safety. Valencian Region leads the ranking of awarded flags with 129 flags, 64 of them in the province of Alicante.

This summer we will be able to enjoy top quality of the waters in Moraig Cove an in the following coves and beaches near Cumbre del Sol:

Denia: Les Bovetes, Les Marines, Molins and Punta Raset.

Xàbia: La Grava, Arenal, Granadella.

Teulada-Moraira: The Portet, L’Ampolla, Les Platgetes.

Benissa: Fustera Cove.

Calp: La Fossa, Cantal Roig, Arenal Bol.

Altea: La Roda, Cap Blanc.
