The Treasure of Jávea tour on 6 September. Departure at 19:00 h. from Historic Javea Tourist Office. In this route, three actors playing local historical characters will explain the rich heritage of Javea. “Camina per la Marina Alta amb la Lluna” (A walk around Marina Alta with the moon) is the name of the trekking activities organized by Consorci Esportiu de la Marina Alta (Marina Alta Sport Consortium) for the month of August’s nights.

There are three walking routes on summer evenings when all participants can enjoy the moon while working out trough Costa Blanca paths.

The first route will take place on August 3 under the name ” Moscatell Route with full moon”, in which participants will visit the Vall del Pop from Senija through Llíber, Gorgos River, Bassa de Sapena and Xaló, across 12 km long path that takes from 3 to 4 hours to be completed.

This month, the town of Jávea is organizing guided hiking trail activities that Cumbre del Sol neighbors might find interesting because these activities will take place just 11 Km  from the development.

Granadella Cove – Castell trail via Teuleria (PR-CV354)

This free of charge activity will take place on Sunday 27 May at 09:00 h. from the Granadella Cove parking in Jávea.

People who want to participate in this activity must be on the meeting place (the parking) at 9:00 o’clock. It is not necessary to register in advance and the approximate time which takes this route to be completed is 3 hours.

“Conoce el Montgó”, which in English would translate like “Get to know the Montgo” is a didactic program organised by the Montgo nature park. The dates of these free hiking tours for 2011 have already been set.

30th January: The route called “Asentamientos Íberos del Montgó” –Iberian Settlements in the Montgo- will start in the Xara train halt and continue through the Iberian settlements of Alto del Benimaquia, Coll de Pous and Pic de l’Aguila.
Difficulty: Medium. Distance: 9 Km. Time: 3 hours and a half.

If you work in Spain, you must be planning what to do during the puente de la constitución, which is a long weekend from Saturday, December 4th to Monday 6th -Monday is going to be a bank holiday. If you have chosen to stay in or around Cumbre del Sol in Benitachell, this post might be of interest to you.

“Senderismo Oltà Circular” is the name of this guided hiking tour that explores the mountains of Olta, its nature and scenic vistas. This is a medium to low difficulty route organized by the Tourism Office of the Town Hall of Calpe, together with the Archaeological Museum of Calpe, the Penon de Ifach Nature Parka and CEMAS.
